Relative Humidity Ranges for Curing Cannabis

Post by grow420 »

when you are "curing" cannabis you want the relative humidity within the container that the buds are being "cured" in to be around 58% RH to 61% RH.

Some Growers Actually like Higher relative humidity like 62% to 64% for example for producing rosin but I am just very scared of mold so I personally never store or cure cannabis above 61% RH.

If the relative humidity within the container that the buds are being cured in goes below 57% than the "cure" is dead, but when I cure I never let it go below 58% RH.

If RH levels ever go above 61% within the container that the buds are being cured in I personally open the containers within a room with low humidity too allow the relative humidity levels within said container to decrease, but remember some growers like higher Relative Humidity for producing rosin so keep that in mind.

I hope this helps someone
